Privacy Policy

Last updated August 16, 2026. This describes what this website actually does, not what a template says it might.

What we collect

When you fill in a form. Your name, email address, phone number, business name, what trade you are in, what you need, and anything you write in the message box. Nothing on this site asks for more than that.

Automatically. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs — IP address, the page requested, browser type, and the time. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. We do not build a profile from them.

What we do NOT collect. We do not use advertising trackers, analytics cookies, session recording, heatmaps, or pixels from Meta, Google or anyone else. We self-host our fonts, so loading a page does not tell Google you were here. If that changes we will say so on this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Cookies

This site sets exactly one cookie, and only for the site owner: a login session for the admin area. It is strictly necessary, it cannot be read by JavaScript, and it is not sent to any other site.

There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you are not being shown a consent banner. A banner asking permission for cookies that do not exist would be theatre.

Who else sees your information

Only the companies that make this site work, and only for that purpose. None of them are permitted to use your information for their own marketing, and we do not sell or share personal information for advertising.

Vercel hosts the site and stores what you send us.

Resend delivers the notification email so we actually see your message.

Stripe processes payments, if you become a client and pay through the site. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers — we never see, store or have access to your card number.

Calendly handles scheduling if you book a call with us.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept while we might reasonably still be talking, and no longer than two years. Client records are kept for seven years, because tax law requires it. Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to hold it.

Stored inquiries are encrypted at rest. Somebody who obtained the raw file would find unreadable ciphertext rather than your details.

Your rights

Email goldencoterie@gmail.com and we will act on any of these within 30 days, at no cost:

See it. A copy of everything we hold about you.

Fix it. Correct anything that is wrong.

Delete it. Removed, unless we are legally required to keep it.

Stop. Object to us using it, or withdraw consent you previously gave.

If you are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another state with its own privacy law, those laws give you these rights explicitly and we honour them for everyone rather than checking where you live first.

Children

This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes, and who to contact

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects information we already hold, tell you directly.
