Terms of Service
Last updated August 16, 2026. Plain terms for using this site and for work we carry out.
Using this site
You may read it, print it, and get in touch. Do not scrape it, republish our words as your own, or use it to send us anything unlawful.
Everything on this site — the writing, the design, the code — belongs to Golden Coterie unless credited otherwise. Photography used for illustration is licensed; see our attribution file.
Quotes and prices
Prices shown on this site are genuine starting prices for the work described, not bait. Your actual quote is the number we put in writing after we understand what you need, and that number is fixed for the scope agreed.
If you ask for something outside that scope, we quote it separately and get your agreement before doing it. You will not receive an invoice you were not expecting.
Project work is billed half on acceptance and half when the work goes live. Monthly services run for an initial 90 days and then month to month, cancellable with 30 days' notice. Advertising spend is paid by you directly to the platform and never passes through us.
What you own
You own the work. On final payment, the website, the copy, the designs and the files are yours outright. The domain, the hosting account, the ad accounts and the analytics are in your name from the start.
If we stop working together you keep everything and we hand over every login. We do not hold a client's website hostage to keep them on a plan.
We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
What we do not promise
This matters more than the rest of this page, so it is stated plainly.
We cannot promise rankings. Nobody can. Google does not sell placement in its organic results and does not take instruction from us or from anyone else. Any agency that guarantees you a position is either misleading you or targeting search terms nobody uses.
We cannot promise revenue. We can promise the work: the pages, the structure, the tracking and the reporting. What that produces depends on your market, your pricing, your competition and how you handle the enquiries it generates.
Statistics on this site are industry figures, labelled as such where they appear. They describe the market generally. They are not predictions about your business and are not a promise of anything.
Liability
We do the work carefully and fix our mistakes. But like any small business, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you tell us to publish — prices, claims, licence numbers, hours — and for having the right to use any material you supply.
Disagreements
Talk to us first. Almost everything is solved in one conversation.
